About our school

A neighbourhood school with real classroom care

Established in 2012, S.R. Children's School has grown with the families of Tarkulwa. We teach in English medium from Nursery to Class VIII, and because we are a neighbourhood school, a child is known by name rather than by roll number.

Our approach is straightforward: strong foundations, patient teaching and a calm, disciplined campus. Children are prepared step by step for the next class, with regular assessment so parents always know how their child is actually progressing — not just at the end of the year.

  • Discipline

Simple, consistent routines that help children settle, listen and take part.

  • Values

Respect, courtesy and honesty practised in everyday school life.

  • Confidence

Every child is encouraged to speak, answer and take part in school activities.

  • Overall Development

Academics along with activities, so children grow in every direction.

  • Individual Attention

Teachers follow each child's progress closely through the year, class by class.

  • Parent Communication

Regular assessment and open conversations keep parents informed through the year.

  • Classroom Learning

Teacher-led lessons with plenty of explanation, repetition and questioning — the way young children actually learn.

  • Foundational Education

Early years focused on reading, writing and number sense, so later classes never feel like catching up.

  • Smart Classroom Support

Digital smart boards support lessons with visuals, making difficult topics easier to see and remember.

  • Computer Education

Practical computer lab periods that build everyday digital confidence from an early age.

  • Regular Assessment

Class tests and periodic assessments that show real progress and guide what needs more practice.

  • Student Participation

Recitation, group work and classroom activities so every child is heard, not just the front row.

Facilities

Everything a young learner needs, on one safe campus

Confirmed facilities that support teaching, safety and everyday comfort — nothing here that we cannot show you during a visit.

  • Smart Classes

Lessons supported by digital smart-board teaching that makes concepts easier to see, hear and remember.

  • Computer Education

A dedicated computer lab where students learn practical computer skills from an early age.
