A school built around the children of Tarkulwa
S.R. Children's School opened in 2012 at Shree Laxmi Katra, near the Post Office in Tarkulwa. Since then the school has taught local children in English medium from Nursery through Class VIII, and it remains run by its own management.

When the school opened in 2012, families in and around Tarkulwa were looking for an English-medium school close to home — one where children would be known and looked after, not lost in a crowd.
We teach from Nursery to Class VIII, which means a child can join us at the beginning of their school life and continue in the same familiar environment until middle school. Teachers see the same children every day, so progress — and problems — are noticed early.
The school day is calm and structured. Alongside lessons, children take part in classroom activities and school events, because confidence is built by doing, not only by reading.
